A delicately flavored, rejuvenating tea, produced by Le Corti dei Farfensi. Collected from the same ancient trees of their olive oil, solely during their flowering to preserve maximum antioxidants.

Since 1875, these copper canisters have been single-handedly produced by one family in Kyoto, using a unique technique with over 130 steps. These traditional tea canisters, known as chazutsu, posses a beauty that is revealed over time — their metal surfaces changing color as they age. Although these canisters are principally used for storing tea, Kaikado canisters can store coffee, seeds, beans or any other item that must be kept away from moisture

Olive Leaf Tea:

30 grams of loose tea.  Delicately flavored and rejuvenating, produced by Le Corti dei Farfensi. Collected from the same ancient trees of their olive oil, solely during their flowering to preserve maximum antioxidants.

Active Ingredient

The primary active compounds in olive leaf extract are the antioxidants oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol. Olive leaf extract has an antioxidant capacity almost double the capacity of green tea extract, and 400% higher than vitamin C.

Oleuropein has antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties, and is therefore beneficial to the treatment for conditions caused by, or associated with virus, retrovirus, bacterium or protozoan. Among these treatable conditions are: influenza, the common cold, candida infections, meningitis, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), encephalitis, herpes I and II, human herpes virus 6 and 7, shingles (Herpes zoster), HIV/ARC/AIDS, chronic fatigue, hepatitis B, pneumonia, tuberculosis, gonorrhea, malaria, dengue, severe diarrhea, and dental, ear, urinary tract and surgical infections.
